This article does a great job of explaining the differences between the two non lethal self defense weapons. They are both extremely effective but each has it’s unique ability to disable an attacker. Having said that….a Stun Gun must be used of course in close quarters due to the fact that you must touch the attacker in order for the stun gun to work. A TASER on the other hand can be used while keeping a safe distance from an attacker. A TASER can also be used in close quarters much like a Stun Gun. With a TASERs you get the best of both worlds.
